To make donating food scraps even easier for residents, Solid Waste is giving out free food scrap collection bins. Use these bins (or any container!) to transport edible food items to the special collection containers at Hickory Grove, Compost Central, or the Foxhole Recycling Center.
Pick up your free bin on Wednesday, June 18, at the Foxhole Recycling Center (17131 Lancaster Hwy) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bins are also available at the Solid Waste offices at 2145 Suttle Ave, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m until 5 p.m.
