Mecklenburg County Solid Waste and Recycling offers electronic waste disposal to County residents at its full service drop off recycling centers. 

Please note: In North Carolina, it is illegal to dispose of a TV, or computer in a landfill.  Your curbside collector will not pick up TVs or computers with your trash. Mecklenburg County will process residential plug-in type electronics at no cost when you bring them to one of the full service drop off centers. There is a limit of 2 TVs or monitors.
