  1. Organizations Can Save Time and Money at the Small Business Hazardous Waste Event

    On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Mecklenburg County’s Solid Waste Management Program will hold a small business hazardous waste collection event which will allow non-residential organizations to bring hazardous waste for a reduced fee.

    Mecklenburg County Solid Waste and Recycling is offering free stickers that residents can apply to their recycling carts as a reminder of what is accepted for curbside recycling pickup: plastic bottles and jugs with necks, cardboard, paper, metal cans, cartons and juice boxes, and glass jars and bottles.
