Mecklenburg County Solid Waste and Recycling offers secure paper shred events to County residents each spring and fall at Compost Central and Recycling Center. 
 

Residential customers only.
Residents are able to bring up to 3 Banker Boxes of material per event. 
 

Please register in advance. 
Time slots do not open until the first day of the month when the event is held. You will receive an error message if you attempt to sign up before the registration period.
